Based on the results of initial observations and interviews to obtain preliminary research data that has been carried out by researchers with class 1A and 1B teachers at SDN Mangunharjo 7, in the second semester of the 2019/2020 school year there were 35 students who could read, and 27 other students had difficulty learning to read.
